Originally presented on four looping CRT screens, Take Me With You deconstructs language and meaning through the fragmented display of its own title. Each letter appears separately across the four side-by-side monitors, rendering the phrase scrambled—on the verge of comprehension yet persistently slipping away.
Inspired by discarded televisions abandoned on the roadside, the work reflects on technological obsolescence and the material traces left behind. Once integral to domestic and family life, these screens are sites of shared experience, occupying hours of our attention before being replaced and discarded. In their looping display, they seem to plead, 'Take me with you' inviting us to consider the emotional and environmental weight of the technologies we leave behind.
