Browser Sun is a browser-based interactive animation that responds dynamically to different display sizes, rendering a shifting digital sun through HTML and CSS. Slowly pulsing in color and form, the sun transforms further with each user interaction, clicking disturbs its position and scale, creating an ever-changing visual experience.
The work reflects on our relationship with screen-based imagery, how digital visuals can be mesmerizing, beautiful, and immersive, yet demand caution. Like staring at the sun itself, prolonged engagement may not be advisable. Browser Sun invites contemplation on the allure and effects of luminous, shifting digital spaces, questioning the way screens hold our gaze and shape perception.
